Holy Week at Unity

PLEASE NOTE: Our Good Friday Tenebrae Service will begin at 7:30 PM, not 7 PM as previously posted. Also, on Easter Sunday, make sure to come at 10:15 AM because there will be some beautiful music shared prior to the official start of the service at 10:30 AM.

The festival of the Resurrection of the Lord (or Easter Sunday) is the center of the Christian year. On this occasion the church joyfully proclaims the good news that is at the very heart of the gospel: that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.

At Unity Presbyterian Church, there will be several opportunities to prepare for and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ during the week leading up to Easter Sunday. Please join us as you are able.

We have two worship services each week:

SATURDAY, 5:00 PMSUNDAY, 10:30 AM
This is our casual worship service with a variety of musical styles. The focus is on fellowship. God’s message is shared in a variety of ways ranging from very traditional to very non-traditional. This is an easy-going, family-friendly service. Everyone is welcome.

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, a light supper will follow the worship service.
This is our traditional service which incorporates more traditional music, a chancel choir, singing of hymns, and a sermon. Communion is served about once per month. All are welcome at this service.
Sunday School is provided for children.

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, light refreshments are served after worship as a time of fellowship.

CHURCH PICNIC – Sunday, September 18

Join us on Sunday, September 18 following the 10:30 AM worship service for our annual CHURCH PICNIC! There will be games, yummy food, and fellowship! Burgers, hot dogs, buns, and beverages will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. This is a rain or shine event. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will move our gathering to Fellowship Hall.
